Terms of Service
Last updated 19 October 2026. By creating an account or using prep.lab, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
prep.lab is an AI coaching service that helps you prepare for interviews and professional conversations. It generates suggested answers, guidance and notes from the material you provide.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at admin@theprep.live if you think it has been misused.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use prep.lab lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you will not:
- break the rules of any interview, assessment, examination or meeting you take part in. You are responsible for knowing and following those rules;
- upload content you do not have the right to use, including other people's personal data without their permission;
- use the service to deceive, harass or harm others, or to break any law;
- try to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems;
- resell or provide the service to others without our written permission.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you provide, such as your resume, documents and questions. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. AI-generated output
Suggestions are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them. You are responsible for what you say and do, and for making sure anything you present about yourself is true.
6. Early access and pricing
prep.lab is currently free during early access. Features may change, be added or be removed as we build. If we introduce paid plans, we will give you clear notice first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. There may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, prep.lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of interviews, meetings or decisions made using the service.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using prep.lab at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions: admin@theprep.live.
